    DPS calculation (formula)

    Because there are so many factors which influence your dps(damage per second) I will split the formula into several parts:

    Total DPS = B * R * S


    B is the unit base stat factor.

    B = Attack Damage * Number of attacks / Attack Speed

    Keep in mind that some units have abilities which enhance their base stats i.e. C.Raynor AutoStim.


    R is the race upgrade factor.

    R = 1.1^Number of Upgrades

    and for Hybrid units:

    R' = 1.05^Number of Upgrades

    Common values
    • 20 upgrades: 6.7275
    • 21 upgrades: 7.4002
    • 40 upgrades: 7.0400
    • 41 upgrades: 7.3920
    • 42 upgrades: 7.7616



    The stat factor S: a*s*c*e

    a = 1 + AD + unit level * 5% + hero upgrades(armor) + unit rank + Bless * 15% - Damage decrease1

    s =(1 + AS) * (1-Speed decrease1) * all speeds rune option * 1.33(for dt) * 1.25(for SXD rank)

    c = 1 + (CC/100)*(CD/100) + (CC/100)*(MC*(CC/200)*(CD/200))

    e = 1 * (Damage inflicted1/100)*(100/(100+Enemy Armor * (1- Armor reduction/100)))


    Enemy Armor is applied at rounds 160+.

    Brackets in the form of (CC/X) cant exceed a value of 1.

    Torments decrease the factor a and your cd by (1 - Torments/10).

    1: Depends on the selected difficulty

    Flower buffs neglected.

    the +15% all speeds buff you can get when you upgrade a rune to +10

    What is the base stats of things like Crit?

    Is Crit a 100% damage increase or 2x damage or is it 1.5x?

    I'm trying to figure out what I should worry about more in my grind, if Crit would really help better than going from say 107 AD to 117 AD.

    I believe crit is a double damage hit, multi crits are multiples of that, so 100 hit, crit - 200, crit2 = 300, etc.

    Crit damage of course makes this base higher, hence crit being a massive stat for higher stuff.

    i'm just wondering if anyone knows or has worked out how multi-hit affects this damage calculation?

    from the description i am thinking multi-hit would work like

    {total AD} * (Multi-target Chance/500) * (Multi-target damage/100) * (1+ Multi-crit levels [expert+The One II] * Multi-critical chance [The One II]/300 * 3 * [total crit damage]/400)

    just wondering if the damage would factor in regular crit chance at all (although it doesn't seem like it) or if the {total AD} should actually be {damage dealt to first unit}, meaning that it would be modified by regular crits and multi-crits as well?

    any thoughts or informative links?

    obviously there is a caveat that there must be a second unit in range for this skill to matter, but i'm going to assume for simplicity that there will always be such a unit

    actually we dont need to think about MT or MTC because we dont have enough sp for that. i didnt give decent damage for us. unless you have 20M xp maybe it will become more usefull.
