    (Gas) buy ranks for Normal units

    mbe an option to purchase SS ranks for Normal units only (marines, lurkers, zealots, etc..) for 5-10 gas. This just as a way to encourage more diverse play in unit compositions w/ hiddens (vs just legends), as well as to help allow for easier crafting of hiddens when lag hits hard.

    Well... I would say, that if you achieve easy rank gem, this would be much more expensive, than just reroll unit. SS rank is needed almost always on units, which cost 1 gas to reroll. And SS rank is in most cases on 1st-5th try. Cant remember when it takes longer...

    Lag... its harder, but till i have very PC with good connection, even with SC2 running ultra details, i do not experience lag even on rounds 200+

    And i said very good PC, but its in fact medicore PC. Ryzen 5 1600x, 32GB ram and GTX 1060 6GB. So to these days nothing super special.

    something that would maybe help is an option that can be turned on (maybe when you set the optimize lag options in the options menu) where you can select the rank you want via the existing menu and then pay upfront for a certain number of rank changes to happen immediately, automatically holding the unit at the target rank if you hit it. so for example, if you want SSS, you can select the SSS option in the options menu, and then next to the regular change rank one time button, there would be a change rank (# times) button. it would cost (#) * (change rank cost) [with no discount], but would instantly roll through up to (#) rank changes until you get the rank you want or run out of tries, and would not refund you any gas if it did hit the target earlier than this number. could be a predetermined number of attempts regardless of rank, or maybe setting the rank higher would increase the number of tries (maybe just always 10/20/50/whatever tries, or like ss = 10, sss = 30, x = 50, xd = 125, sxd = 500). to discourage abuse han could set the number of tries as something higher than statistically required, so that players would only have incentive to use this to reduce/avoid lag and not to change ranks more economically

    i don't care about displaying the results or the changes as they happen, just do # of changes and only display the last one or (if it hits) the target one. make this option ineligible to count for rank upgrades as a further disincentive for use other than to just avoid/mitigate lag

    if the point of individual rank changes was to deliberately introduce a random delay in a player's ability to change ranks and obtain higher tier units (since obvs randomness is integral to this game), then put a cooldown on the change ability that would be equal to doing the same number of changes in ideal conditions (=0 lag), or again, slightly longer to disincentivize this in normal play, or even just like 1 time per round. could also disable it until after a certain round too, like >130. hell, could possibly even disable this option until the game detects a framerate below a certain amount if this is an issue.
